It’s not you, it’s your platform

Your newsletter content is top-notch. Your social media game is on point. Your aspirations are through the roof. Yet you’re stuck on level one.

We’ve got bad news (and then really good news): your newsletter platform stinks. And beehiiv can get you where you want to be.

Most newsletter platforms leave the growth and monetization aspects of content creation to the creator. But that’s like trying to drive a car with no wheels.

Beehiiv’s platform is built for growth, so you can scale at the speed your content deserves with features like paid subscriptions, referral programs, and an ad network that connects you with global brands like Netflix and Nike.

It’s time to ask yourself: if your newsletter platform isn’t doing enough for you, what are you going to do about it?

THE BIG 1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣

1️⃣  🏃🏻‍♀️ Quick Options for Your Health

When you want to get a quick workout in, you need good options— cardio, strength, running, cycling, yoga, pilates (and more). Did you know you can get all those from the Peloton App and you don’t need to own a bike or treadmill? The workouts range from 5 to 90 minutes, and you choose your own adventure for $13/month. If you need some mental relaxation, let the Calm or Headspace app give your mental health a quick reset.

2️⃣  ⚡️Tidy Up & Organize in a Flash

Isn’t it amazing how quickly the house can go from clean to a complete wreck?! Sometimes all our kiddos need is 5 minutes to make the house look a tornado hit. Instead of spending more of your precious time cleaning and organizing, we love these hacks to make it easier:

  • Let an organizational app, like Todoist or Trello take over managing household chores and schedules. (Talk about lessening the mental load!)

  • Stop attempting to sweep up crumbs and dirt every 5 minutes. Check that task off your list by letting your Roomba do a constant sweep of the house.

  • Are you overwhelmed by too many emails? When you don’t want to sift through them to figure out what’s spam and what’s important, Spark helps you declutter your inbox quickly.

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT 🤎

for working moms with older children
  • Whether we blame too much social media use or a busy schedule, one thing is clear: teens are getting less sleep, on average, than they were a decade ago. If you’ve got a cranky teen on your hands, you know full-well that a good night’s sleep can solve a lot of problems. But aside from improving mood, sleep can also reduce stress, improve metabolism, and even help with immunity. So what’s the magic number? 8-10 hours of sleep per night! Now the question is: How are you going to convince your teen to do it? How do you get your teens to prioritize sleep? Let everyone know in the comments below!

  • Not sure how to best parent your teenager? You’re not alone. And while it can be SO hard to miss the closeness that you might have once had with them, there is hope. We love these hacks for staying connected to your teen, including finding ways to chat, and not taking anything personally. 😅

Last week’s poll results: 75% of you are totally burned out! Keep reading for a few of your thoughts and comments!

➡️ “We are in the height of career fair season at work, along with summer internship interviews/placements in addition to all of our regular full time positions. Our household got hit with influenza two weeks ago, then the largest snow we have seen in more than a decade last week. While I had to miss time from work due to illness, it wasn’t exactly a break or restful at all. I’m feeling a little extra burnt out currently with the demands of work and home.”

➡️ “When I have my busy seasons at work I assume that the family will pitch in. It’s a fun dream I have that the family will pitch in.”

➡️ “I’m exhausted. Working full time and single parenting are the most tired I’ve ever been in my life. And it’s not just physical exhaustion but even more mental exhaustion!”
