Our Summer Favorites 🙌🏻

Hi mamas,

We know we’re preaching to the choir when we say that summer can be stressful. With schedules turned on their heads, camp drop-off and pick-up times that interrupt a day’s work, and heat indexes that seem to be getting more unbearable every year 🥵, summer just doesn’t have the same glimmer as it did when we were kids.

Well, we’re here to bring back a little more of that summer joy (at least to your inboxes). This entire issue is dedicated just to YOU. Our team has compiled some of our favorites — in everything from things to read and listen to, to what to buy, and even what to write for your OOO message when you skip town on that much-needed PTO…

• Thanks for your message. I'm out exploring nature with my family in the mountains, listening to birds and avoiding bears. I'll be back on X date. If something urgent comes up, reach out to Y.

• Off to visit the magical land of X where I will not be thinking about work at all!

• I'm currently either:

  1. Avoiding a sunburn on the beach

  2. Napping

  4. Not checking my email or work related items

• Currently OOO as I am conducting a highly important experiment on whether the beach can actually solve all of life’s problems. I’ll return with results next week.

• Or…outsource your email to the horses in Iceland. Yes, really.
