Edition 107

Itās the ubiquitous sentence that working moms use to describe the ācanāt winā feeling weāve all felt a time or two.
But weāre bucking up against the norm, taking the tail out from between our legs and actually GETTING LOUD about parenting. š£
Why?
Because we donāt think the above actually solves anything and is the exact mentality that leads to burn out and the reality that 44% of moms sought mental health treatment for anxiety or depression in the last year.
So ā weāre committing to PARENTING OUT LOUD.
What exactly does āparenting out loudā mean?
Elliot Rae said it best on LinkedIn:
āParenting Out Loud means to put school pick-ups in the work calendar, to be honest about needing to work from home to look after a sick child and to proudly request flexible working for childcare reasons.ā
