• Popular baby sleep clothes brand, Kyte Baby, denied an employee's request to work remotely to care for her newborn in the NICU.

• Critics railed against the company on social media for not being understanding of new parents.  

• The company's founder has apologized on TikTok… twice.

🔥 LinkedIn is blowing up with take after take after take.

🔥 People are threatening to boycott the brand.

🔥 Legal experts are weighing in.

And honestly, while we can kind of see both sides from an HR perspective — we’re hoping this is the kind of big headline news that gives (some) employers the kick in the pants they need to take a good, long look at their parental leave policies and bring ‘em into the 21st century.
